1. Fluorine rubber skeleton oil seal has excellent high-temperature resistance. Fluorine rubber (FPM) can work for a long time at 200-250 degrees Celsius and for a short time at 300 degrees Celsius. The tensile strength and hardness of fluororubber significantly decrease with increasing temperature. The characteristic of changes in tensile strength and hardness is that below 150 degrees, it rapidly decreases with increasing temperature; Between 150 and 260 degrees Celsius, the downward trend is slow as the temperature increases.
2. Fluorine rubber skeleton oil seal has excellent corrosion resistance. Fluorine rubber (FPM) has excellent corrosion resistance. It has excellent stability for organic liquids, different fuel oils, and lubricants, and good corrosion resistance to most organic acids, hydrocarbons, benzene, and toluene.
3. Compression permanent deformation performance of fluororubber skeleton oil seal. Fluoroelastomer (FKM) is used for sealing at high temperatures, and its compression deformation performance is the key. The widespread application of Viton fluororubber is closely related to its improved compression deformation. DuPont Corporation in the United States was committed to improving the resistance of fluororubber to compression deformation in the 1960s and 1970s, achieving significant results.
4. Low temperature resistance performance of fluororubber oil seal. The ultimate temperature at which fluororubber (FKM) can maintain elasticity is -15~-20 degrees Celsius. As the temperature decreases, its tensile strength increases and appears strong and tough at low temperatures. When the thickness is 2MM, its brittleness temperature is -30 degrees; When the thickness is 1.87MM, the temperature is -45 degrees; When the thickness is 0.63MM, the temperature is -53 degrees; At a thickness of 0.25, the temperature is -69 degrees. The general use temperature of fluororubber can be slightly lower than the brittle temperature.
5. The performance of fluororubber oil seals in terms of climate aging resistance and ozone resistance is still satisfactory after 10 years of natural storage. In air with an ozone concentration of 0.01%, there was no significant cracking after 45 days of exposure.
